Drawing inspiration from the Arts Centre's rich history and diverse programming, we embarked on crafting a new identity that reflects its multifaceted nature.

As avid supporters of Pocklington Arts Centre and frequent attendees ourselves, we were thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with the management team on a rebranding initiative for this iconic venue. Situated in our studio hometown, Pocklington, the Arts Centre holds a special place in our hearts, and we were eager to contribute to its revitalisation.
The reimagined branding extends across all facets of the Arts Centre's presence, from marketing collateral to printed materials, from the revamped user friendly website to social media platforms, and even to the interior decor and building signage. Animated screen idents, featured in the cinema and foyer displays.
With a keen focus on user experience, the website emphasises simplicity and accessibility, prioritising seamless navigation and easy access to ticket sales. Our goal is to ensure that every interaction with the Arts Centre, whether online or in person, is intuitive and engaging, inviting audiences old and new to experience the magic of this cultural hub.
The new identity illustrates the flexibility and multi-purpose use of the Arts Centre. Picking up on historical references, we sought to characterise this in a simple gobo (a type of theatrical stage lighting) stencil style graphic.
