Young Composers Award 2016

Over the past 17 years, Red Bonsai has worked closely with the National Centre for Early Music to shape and evolve the NCEM Young Composers Award into a nationally respected competition with growing European reach.

We’ve developed a fresh visual identity each year, designing print and digital materials, managing the website, and supporting the evolving brief in partnership with BBC Radio 3 and leading early music ensembles such as The Tallis Scholars and The Brook Street Band. Our ongoing work has helped the Award remain vibrant, relevant, and engaging for young composers across the UK and beyond.
