The 2007 festival explored Powerplay—500 years of musical intrigue, politics, and passion. A depiction of Elizabeth I featured as the central image, symbolising authority, spectacle, and the intertwining of power and the arts.




The portrait was used across brochures, posters, and displays, supported by bold typography and rich colours to give the festival a strong identity.
