In 2015, the York Early Music Festival explored the musical interplay between Britain and France under the theme Entente Cordiale. The programme highlighted the shared influences and distinct styles that shaped the two nations' musical landscapes, featuring works from composers like Purcell, Charpentier and Couperin.
Work included printed brochures, posters and display.
The 2015 festival featured performances by esteemed ensembles such as the Huelgas Ensemble, who illuminated the works of Firminus Caron, and the Early Opera Company, delivering a compelling rendition of Charpentier’s Actéon.
