The 2012 festival explored the theme Crossing Borders, focusing on how early music moved across countries, cultures and centuries—shaping and reshaping itself along the way.




We created a visual identity based around a historic painting that suggested travel, exchange, and movement. This image formed the centrepiece of the festival’s design and was used across brochures, posters, displays, and print materials.

The same look carried through to digital assets, ensuring a consistent visual across web and social media.
