The 2026 York Early Music Festival celebrates its 50th anniversary with Beyond Borders, a theme that reflects on the festival’s journey coming full circle. This milestone year explores the crossing of boundaries; geographical, historical, and artistic, bringing together voices, instruments, and repertoires from across Europe and beyond. The programme and the visual identity embody this sense of return and renewal, tracing the festival’s evolution while looking forward to new horizons.

Seamlessly integrated into the NCEM’s dynamic, user-friendly platform, the York Early Music Festival 2026 website made it effortless for visitors to explore the Beyond Borders programme and secure tickets.
The refreshed design captured the festival’s 50th anniversary theme, combining bold, evocative visuals with intuitive navigation. Complementing the site, a targeted online marketing campaign—including social media assets, Mailchimp newsletters, and SEO optimisation—helped increase visibility and engagement, supporting strong ticket sales across the festival’s diverse events.

For 2026, the festival brochure and printed literature present a visually engaging guide that acts as both a promotional showcase and a comprehensive overview of the programme.

In addition to the main brochure, our work included posters, flyers, signage, and event-specific handouts, ensuring brand consistency at every audience touchpoint. Each item was designed to be informative, accessible and aligned with the festival’s prestigious identity.

Lamppost Banners displayed across York help raise visibility and offering high-impact, round-the-clock promotion in key city locations. A cost-effective way to reach both locals and visitors.

Lightweight and quick to assemble, roller banners are perfect for event branding.
